This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Manage a substantial caseload that includes creditors’ rights and real estate litigation issues.
• Prepare legal documents.
• Perform legal research.
• Oversee the discovery process.
• Assist with motion practices.
• Advance cases from their inception to resolution.
• Actively oversee assigned cases utilizing case management and reporting software.
• Make court appearances and travel as necessary.
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams across various jurisdictions.
• Deliver exceptional client service and maintain proactive communication.
• Guide and mentor team members.
• Must hold membership and be in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practice.
• Willingness and capability to actively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software.
• Solid understanding of civil procedure, motions practice, and loss mitigation.
• Familiarity with Title & Lien Priority, Title Claims, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and general creditors’ rights practice.
• Court appearances and related travel are mandatory.
• Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on teamwork and mentoring.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dedication to providing outstanding client support and exercising sound judgment.
• Additional Bar licenses are advantageous.
