Legal Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with lawyers at existing and potential clients in Korea to identify workflow challenges, propose solutions, and illustrate how Harvey integrates into legal operations.

• Act as the customer's advocate by converting feedback and insights from the Korean legal workflow into product strategy.

• Collaborate with product development, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to influence Harvey’s roadmap and encourage product usage.

• Create and enhance product demonstrations, workflows, and use cases in both Korean and English.

• Present new features in a customized, credible, and engaging manner tailored to each client.

• Offer insights into competitive and market trends within the Korean and broader APAC legal technology sector.

• Enhance Harvey’s reputation as an AI partner within the legal field in Korea and throughout APAC.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residing in Seoul and authorized to work in South Korea.

• Possession of a Korean legal qualification (변호사 자격) or its equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified lawyer in a prestigious Korean or international law firm and/or in-house.

• Significant familiarity with intricate legal workflows and client expectations.

• Proficiency in both Korean and English, with the capability to operate effectively in professional environments across both languages.

• Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and provide confident, well-reasoned advice.

• Capacity to navigate legal, product, and sales environments.

• Strong executive presence and skills in relationship development.

• Comfort engaging with partners, senior associates, in-house legal counsel, and legal executives.

• Experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or business development within a law firm is advantageous.
