This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage and coordinate assigned publications that are available both online and in print;
• Follow up with authors to secure manuscript submissions and updates according to set schedules;
• Recruit new authors and find replacements for those who withdraw;
• Engage in the editorial process and publication of manuscripts in French;
• Build and maintain robust relationships with the legal community and external partners;
• Contribute to various translation initiatives;
• Act as a resource for authors and various internal teams.
• Strong command of the French language;
• Strong command of the English language;
• Bachelor’s degree in Law;
• Membership in the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec is a plus;
• Excellent organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail;
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet publication deadlines for both print and online products;
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with contributors and collaborate on projects involving various teams;
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office;
• Proficiency in integrating artificial intelligence into work processes, including the daily use of large language models (LLMs) and AI tools to enhance content analysis and development, as well as iterative prompt optimization to ensure consistently high-quality outcomes.
