This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Guide, mentor, and support a team of specialists in legal document production.
• Establish clear expectations and performance benchmarks.
• Facilitate regular one-on-one meetings, team discussions, and performance evaluations.
• Offer hands-on assistance with intricate or high-stakes document production tasks.
• Manage daily team operations, including workload planning, task delegation, and service delivery.
• Ensure precision, output quality, and turnaround times are maintained.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for workflow issues, quality concerns, and client expectations.
• Guarantee that both individual and team objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved or surpassed.
• Advocate for best practices and the integration of new technologies and tools.
• Track productivity, quality metrics, and overall team performance.
• Investigate discrepancies and address challenges in a constructive manner.
• Identify and enact improvements in workflow and processes.
• Keep process documentation up to date and promote knowledge sharing among team members.
• Follow up on client inquiries and concerns.
• Represent client issues to the account manager when necessary.
• Develop and nurture day-to-day relationships with clients.
• Assist in service reviews and contribute to favorable client outcomes and long-term partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and nurture a team in a high-standard, client-centric environment.
• Strong organizational skills and effective workload management capabilities.

• At least 3+ years of experience in legal document production.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in team management.
• Experience in producing, reviewing, and managing complex documents, including advanced Word functionalities (styles, templates, tracked changes, formatting).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with legal/document tools such as PDFdocs, DocuSign, and digital dictation software.
• Proven experience in meeting tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy.
• Established record of fostering constructive working relationships and collaborating effectively within a team.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to balance operational oversight with hands-on support.
