This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee administrative responsibilities related to the foreclosure legal proceedings.
• Ensure timely communication with all relevant parties.
• Maintain and organize electronic records.
• Draft and prepare legal pleadings.
• Follow up on the service of process.
• Utilize and manage client systems effectively.
• Handle incoming phone calls.
• Compose, prepare, and format memoranda, correspondence, assignments, and various legal documents.
• Address inquiries from borrowers, clients, and external contacts.
• Manage a substantial volume of email correspondence.
• Build and sustain relationships with business partners and clients.
• Update the firm’s internal case management system and client databases.
• Review title reports and recorded documentation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to clients.
• Proofread legal documents thoroughly.
• Assist attorneys in a high-volume, time-sensitive setting.
• Provide updates on client status.
• Follow up on pending documents and services.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a foreclosure firm.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Capability to communicate politely and effectively with borrowers, clients, attorneys, internal staff, and external parties.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Proficiency in multitasking and adapting to frequent changes.
• High-level reading and writing skills for proofreading and editing tasks.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Skilled in conducting internet research.
• Familiarity with case and document management software.
• Experience with client systems like LPS, SSE Portal, Tempo, Vendorscape, and others is preferred.
• Good understanding of the legal processes related to foreclosure is preferred.
• Experience in reviewing title reports and identifying chain-of-title issues is preferred.
• Proficient in using computers, fax machines, scanners, photocopiers, typewriters, and telephones.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States currently and in the future.
