Legal Analyst – Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of legal opinions for internal inquiries by conducting legal and case-law research, along with providing interpretation and guidance.

• Track, assess, and interpret existing tax legislation, ensuring pertinent information is communicated to relevant departments.

• Stay updated on legislative changes and create Internal Communications to keep business units informed.

• Collaborate with external law firms and consulting agencies.

• Oversee legal proceedings; familiarity with the ESPAIDER system is beneficial.

• Track the progress and outcomes of legal proceedings, documenting results, and keeping stakeholders updated.

• Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Law.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in Tax Law.

• Relevant experience with current consumption tax processes and routines.
