This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as the tax leader for the EMEA region of Hims & Hers.
• Oversee quarterly and annual tax provisions for EMEA entities in compliance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Guarantee timely and precise preparation and submission of corporate income tax and indirect tax filings across various EMEA jurisdictions.
• Assist with withholding taxes and manage tax registrations.
• Support and oversee tax audits, inquiries, and communication with local tax authorities.
• Collaborate with U.S. tax, legal, and accounting teams on entity restructuring, transfer pricing documentation, and analysis of permanent establishment risks.
• Keep track of legislative and regulatory changes across the region and evaluate their business implications.
• Design and implement tax-efficient frameworks for new business ventures and existing EMEA operations.
• Update the Senior Manager of International Tax in the U.S. on status and issues.
• Conduct EMEA tax research and collaborate with external advisors to facilitate business initiatives.
• Maintain tax compliance calendars and documentation for effective control and risk management.
• Cultivate tax staff by managing performance, setting objectives, providing training, and fostering employee relations.
• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax experience within a multinational organization or Big 4/public accounting setting is required.
• Robust technical knowledge of EMEA direct and indirect tax regulations, reporting requirements, and tax accounting standards.
• Understanding of transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks, including BEPS and Pillar Two, is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with the U.S.-based tax team across different time zones.
• Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized, with the capability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, growing environment.
