Learning & Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create, refine, and implement high-quality learning materials, including videos, digital modules, presentations, and training resources.

• Edit videos, presentations, and interactive modules utilizing tools such as Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, Articulate (SCORM), and PowerPoint.

• Develop facilitator guides, participant handouts, job aids, and digital assets.

• Ensure that all content aligns with brand standards and adheres to instructional design best practices.

• Upload, test, and resolve issues with content on LMS platforms like Schoox, Workday Learning, and SharePoint.

• Keep content accurate and relevant across various learning academies and systems.

• Track learner progress and assist with reporting requirements.

• Aid in the scheduling and administration of virtual, self-guided, and instructor-led training sessions.

• Manage communications, logistics, and follow-up actions for L&D events and academies.

• Collaborate with L&D leadership, HR, and business executives to gather feedback and enhance learning experiences.

• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

• Gather and assess feedback and performance metrics.

• Contribute to dashboards and reports that inform program improvements and decision-making processes.

• Effectively prioritize daily content generation, LMS updates, and training logistics independently.

• Revise instructional materials based on feedback and coordinate significant training events with cross-functional stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Communications, Media Production, or a related discipline.

• 1–4 years of experience in L&D, training coordination, instructional design, or content production.

• A strong passion and demonstrated ability for training, coaching, mentoring, and developing others.

• Capability to work autonomously and efficiently in a remote or hybrid work setting.

• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools including Vyond, Camtasia, Articulate (SCORM), Captivate, and Microsoft 365.

• Proficient in Copilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

• Understanding of LMS platforms and adult learning theories.

• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.

• Willingness to learn new technology software platforms and job-related skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Professional facilitation of training content and/or effective meeting execution.

• Competence in influencing and communicating successfully both in person and virtually.

• Adaptability, flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to think creatively and be solution-oriented.

• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States.
