Learning and Development Specialist

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Design, develop, and implement training initiatives for both new hires and current employees.

β€’ Ensure training programs are in line with organizational objectives and performance benchmarks.

β€’ Collaborate with leadership and various teams to assess training requirements.

β€’ Execute scalable learning solutions.

β€’ Oversee and manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including activities such as course uploads, tracking, reporting, and optimizing user experience.

β€’ Develop presentations, job aids, and e-learning modules, with a focus on high-quality PowerPoint design.

β€’ Conduct both virtual and face-to-face training sessions.

β€’ Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using data and participant feedback.

β€’ Continuously refine training content and delivery approaches.

β€’ Assist with onboarding and continuous development programs aimed at improving employee retention and performance.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

β€’ A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or instructional design is required.

β€’ Proven experience in managing and using an LMS is essential.

β€’ Advanced skills in PowerPoint are necessary.

β€’ Experience in a healthcare or medical practice environment, particularly supporting Medical Assistants (MA), is strongly preferred.

β€’ Knowledge of clinical workflows and training requirements in a medical setting is advantageous.

β€’ Familiarity with Canvas or similar learning platforms is highly preferred.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to take initiative and enhance training programs.

β€’ Excellent skills in communication, facilitation, and organization are required.

β€’ Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
