This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create high-voltage (69kV–500kV) transmission lines utilizing PLS-CADD
• Execute intricate project tasks employing advanced engineering methods, theories, principles, and practices
• Offer specialized consultation for the design, development, and execution of technical plans and systems related to high-voltage transmission-line construction
• Promote collaboration among various disciplines and project team members
• Serve as the primary contact for clients to establish project scope and comprehend requirements
• Generate construction documents for transmission lines
• Develop project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, structural framing and loading drawings, assembly drawings, structural foundation drawings, and construction specifications
• Coordinate particular design elements of projects
• Estimate construction expenses and specify required materials
• Foster positive relationships with clients
• Independently complete designated tasks and manage personal workload
• Support the training and mentoring of team members
• Review project drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• At least 7 years of engineering experience
• A minimum of 5 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related experience is required
• PE license is mandatory
• Preferred proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
• Previous experience with or for a Utility is highly desirable
• Must possess authorization for permanent work in the US
• Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and AutoCAD is preferred
• Proficiency in MFAD/LPILE is also preferred
