Lead Specialist, Content Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of intricate content for print, digital, and blended English Language Learning products.

• Take charge of the delivery for substantial, multi-level, and multi-faceted projects, ensuring uniformity and coherence across all components and formats.

• Recognize and address challenges related to content, quality, dependencies, and delivery.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to provide timelines for development, identify dependencies and risks, and formulate solutions.

• Brief, assess, evaluate, and approve contributions from authors, external suppliers, and vendors.

• Work in partnership with various functions, including Product, Production, Digital, Assessment, Design, and others within an international context.

• Offer expert advice to Content Developers, authors, suppliers, and project teams, even without formal management authority.

• Drive the integration of AI-enabled and agentic workflows.

• Make autonomous decisions regarding content and delivery while keeping stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing English Language Learning courseware for both print and digital platforms.

• In-depth understanding of ELL/ELT pedagogy and learning experiences.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-level, and multi-component content development initiatives.

• Strong editorial judgment with experience in briefing, reviewing, and approving top-quality educational content.

• Capability to foresee and resolve challenges related to content, quality, and delivery, including timelines, dependencies, and evolving requirements.

• Experience in working collaboratively with Project Managers, authors, external suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams in an international setting.

• Ability to influence, mentor, and provide expert guidance without formal line-management authority.

• A curious and proactive mindset towards AI-enabled content development.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
