This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Provide technical leadership and business insights to the Regional sales team.
• Drive revenue through effective account and resource planning, along with allocation strategies.
• Develop and nurture a team of high-achieving Solutions Engineers.
• Enhance team performance through innovative programs and daily leadership.
• Mentor and grow the talent within the SE team.
• Construct territory plans utilizing SE feedback and insights on market demand.
• Formulate technical resource plans and prioritize opportunities in collaboration with the Regional Sales Leader.
• Analyze quantitative data to identify and articulate trends.
• Define team capacity, boost performance, and align resources to meet commitments.
• Drive technical account strategies in alignment with customer needs and objectives.
• Distribute resources effectively and assist in identifying qualified partners.
• Oversee and approve pre-sales resource requests focused on customer needs.
• Monitor and report on team metrics related to opportunities.
• Track team progress against the business plan and suggest necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with business units to support the local region effectively.
• Spearhead multifunctional projects.
• Facilitate the communication of customer requirements among customers, corporate, and field teams.
• Champion continuous improvement in customer experience and Cisco brand loyalty.
• Assess customer satisfaction and enhance experiences within the designated territory.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in technical sales or Solutions Engineering roles.
• Proven experience working collaboratively with sales and customer-facing teams to achieve business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Leadership or team lead experience is preferred.
• Practical experience in integrating AI tools, automation scripts, and digital collaboration platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with local business economics, industry trends, and vertical markets is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of internetworking industry trends, products, and solutions is preferred.
• Ability to articulate the trade-offs between Cisco and competitor products is preferred.
• Experience with account and resource planning for a region is preferred.
• Capacity to collaborate with the Regional Manager to monitor plans and make course corrections is preferred.
• Capability to communicate a clear account vision and strategy is preferred.
• Understanding and application of standard methodologies and tools is preferred.
• Experience in building team capabilities and talent pipelines is preferred.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills are preferred.
• Candidates must either reside in or be willing to relocate to the Nashville, TN area.
