Lead Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Assist in identifying growth opportunities within the Health, State & Local Sector

• Act as a key member of capture teams

• Direct the creation of innovative, cost-efficient, mission-relevant solutions across systems engineering, applications, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure

• Collaborate with Business Development, delivery accounts, and Corporate Offerings teams to formulate solution strategies and approaches that align with customer goals and requirements

• Create technical solutions, competitive pricing, and ensure business-case alignment for Government client proposal needs

• Work alongside business leaders to design solutions and define key solution parameters prior to costing activities

• Present solution components during governance reviews with senior management

• Identify and assess solution risks and formulate mitigation strategies and plans

• Build partnerships with Peraton collaborators to deliver high-quality solutions and compelling value propositions

• Position Peraton to provide comprehensive mission value to program sponsors

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and support shaping initiatives

• Communicate solution advantages for both strategic and tactical sponsor audiences

• Transform innovation and R&D into distinct customer solutions featuring technological leadership

• Maintain a network of contacts among government entities, OEMs, and competitors

⛳️ Requirements

• 12 years of experience, which may include supervisory or management roles

• At least 3 years of experience in delivering successful technical solutions for large, complex proposals aimed at US Federal and/or State/Local Government clients, including cyber and infrastructure solutions

• Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and in team environments, collaborating with technical experts, Program Managers, proposal managers, and Business Development teams

• Proficiency in communicating in various formats with diverse stakeholder levels

• Capacity to establish trusted relationships and communicate effectively with senior and executive management

• Expertise across a wide array of mission-focused and technology services and solutions, along with a strong customer-oriented approach

• Advanced cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, GSLC, or equivalent)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field (preferred)
