This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design, create, test, and deploy software applications.
• Work collaboratively with product owners, UX researchers, data analysts, QA, project managers, cross-team leaders, and design stakeholders.
• Comprehend both functional and non-functional requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Foster a collaborative team atmosphere to meet business goals.
• Plan and estimate work efforts while forecasting project timelines.
• Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Investigate and suggest solutions for development and design challenges.
• Assess integration requirements and design as well as plan integrations accordingly.
• Create technical documentation, software design evaluation plans, and report test results.
• Write high-quality, straightforward, clear, and testable code.
• Implement unit and integration tests and perform functional and performance testing.
• Engage in code reviews and collaborative programming efforts.
• Develop reusable software components.
• Identify and resolve critical performance issues in existing software systems.
• Establish development practices and processes.
• Mentor and manage software engineers.
• Lead full-stack development involving Python and FastAPI backend services, TypeScript and React frontend applications, AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Guide AI coding agents while ensuring code quality and adherence to review standards.
• Master's degree in computer science with 5+ years of experience in a company utilizing web technology stacks and standards OR Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in web technology stacks and standards.
• A growth mindset and eagerness to acquire new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proven experience in managing a team of developers.
• Demonstrated success in architecting, scaling, and implementing intricate technical solutions.
• Established leadership in Agile environments, showcasing communication, collaboration, mentoring, and team empowerment skills.
• Capability to convey complex technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (7+ years).
• High proficiency in React.js (5+ years).
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML and modern CSS, including CSS-in-JS, accessibility, SEO, and responsive design.
• Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, package managers, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Daily experience using AI coding agents such as Cursor or Claude.
• History of establishing and maintaining CI quality gates across multiple repositories.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and perform necessary physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with Headless CMS, e-commerce, A/B testing, backend development, high-traffic websites, content delivery networks, cloud platforms, frontend third-party integrations, and data analytics.
