Lead SailPoint Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical lead for the delivery and execution of the IGA solution in collaboration with the Lead IGA Solutions Architect.

• Ensure that engineering solutions are in accordance with enterprise architecture, standards, and reference patterns.

• Spearhead the implementation of identity lifecycle and governance functionalities, encompassing joiner/mover/leaver workflows, birthright access, certifications, access requests, RBAC/ABAC, and separation-of-duties controls.

• Convert regulatory, audit, and risk requirements into enforceable technical controls.

• Direct integrations with HR systems, directories, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications, including aspects such as mapping, transformation, reconciliation, monitoring, and exception handling.

• Take ownership of platform reliability, technical health, automation, engineering standards, deployment, version control, and change management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, delivery, and roadmap priorities for IGA initiatives.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers regarding implementation standards, integration practices, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a SailPoint Certified Identity Now Engineer.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in identity engineering, security engineering, or software solution delivery.

• Significant hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), including lifecycle workflows, access governance, and integrations.

• Proven experience engineering system and application integrations utilizing APIs, SCIM, and enterprise data flows.

• Ability to serve as the technical owner for a platform or domain, with accountability for the quality of delivery and operational results.

• Experience in developing automation, scripts, or tools for identity onboarding, migrations, or operational tasks.

• Proficiency in version control and structured deployment or release workflows.

• Strong independent problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Advanced experience with SailPoint ISC, including custom connectors, complex workflows, and policy-driven access models.

• Demonstrated experience implementing RBAC, ABAC, birthright access policies, certifications, and separation-of-duties controls at an enterprise scale.

• Experience integrating IGA platforms with HR systems, ERP platforms, SaaS applications, and cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.

• Experience supporting IGA platforms in regulated environments, including SOX, HIPAA, PCI, ISO, and NIST.

• Exposure to DevOps or platform engineering practices related to identity systems.

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, cloud security certifications, or advanced SailPoint certifications.
