Lead Risk Manager, Infrastructure & Capital Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify, capture, and maintain project risks, issues, and opportunities within the risk register.

• Facilitate risk workshops with project teams, contractors, and subject matter experts.

• Conduct qualitative assessments and provide data for quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis.

• Monitor mitigation actions, responsible parties, and due dates.

• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for project controls and leadership reviews.

• Keep an eye on emerging risks, early warning indicators, and any changes in project scope or conditions.

• Assist in schedule risk reviews.

• Collaborate with planning, cost, estimating, engineering, and construction delivery teams.

• Escalate high-impact risks and propose mitigation options for leadership approval.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise risk frameworks, tools, and governance standards.

• Coordinate operational tasks and implement risk-related activities associated with Machine Learning builds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Establish a risk program for Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) supply chain.

• Refine the OFE risk taxonomy and risk framework based on stakeholder feedback.

• Conduct workshops for risk identification and calibrate identified risks.

• Document identified OFE cost and schedule risks in an OFE risk register within e-Builder.

• Design or recommend controls to mitigate or reduce identified OFE risks.

• Establish a risk program and risk taxonomy for General Contractors (GC).

• Identify and evaluate GCs utilized in data center construction projects.

• Conduct risk identification workshops for GCs and maintain a GC risk register in e-Builder.

• Support risk mitigation strategies for the Machine Learning (ML) ramp.

• Membership or certification through a relevant risk domain association, including PMI (PMP, RMP), AACE (PRMP, DRMP), or RICS (MRICS or FRICS), is a plus.

• Familiarity with Safran, @RISK, PRA, Deltek, or Omega is advantageous.
