Lead Reinsurance Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee reinsurance settlement tasks, including reconciliations, reporting, and operational management.

• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of reinsurance settlements along with financial obligations.

• Analyze substantial data sets to uncover trends, discrepancies, operational challenges, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Utilize business intelligence and AI-driven tools to optimize reconciliations, reporting, documentation, and decision-making.

• Propel automation, system integration, and process enhancement initiatives to boost efficiency and scalability.

• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Operations stakeholders to create dashboards, reporting solutions, and business insights.

• Support and evolve Assurant’s reinsurance operations through expertise in accounting, data analytics, business intelligence, and emerging AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, data analytics, business intelligence, automation, or digital transformation settings.

• Familiarity with large data sets, data modeling, financial systems, and initiatives for process optimization.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to convert operational challenges into actionable insights.

• Proven interest, skill, or experience in leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance business processes and productivity.

• Experience in the insurance or reinsurance sector; specific reinsurance experience is highly preferred.

• Practical experience with Alteryx workflow design and automation.

• Advanced skills in Power BI, Power Query, or comparable business intelligence platforms.

• Experience in leading or assisting with system implementations, integrations, or technology transformation projects.

• Ability to function in a dynamic environment where responsibilities adapt continuously to business needs.

• Role requires prolonged periods of sitting along with occasional standing, walking, or lifting up to 10 pounds.
