Contract Senior Data Analyst, SQL, Telemetry, Browser Engine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards that convert intricate performance data into accessible formats for Product Managers and leadership.

• Conduct audits of the Gecko codebase to pinpoint absent telemetry collection points or probes.

• Create methodologies and tools to detect and filter data discrepancies, including bot traffic and hardware-specific noise.

• Provide in-depth analyses linking technical performance changes, such as LCP and eTLD+1, with user-facing issues and engagement trends.

• Concentrate on Gecko engine telemetry across both Desktop and Android platforms.

• Collaborate effectively with the Performance Team, Data Team, and Product Leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Advanced SQL (BigQuery/Redash).

• Skilled in data visualization utilizing AI tools.

• Experience in statistical analysis methods, including Pearson’s correlation and multivariate analysis.

• Familiarity with Rust/C++ is a significant advantage.

• Strong expertise with AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar is highly sought after.

• Ability to comprehend browser component interactions and their influence on user experience.

• Demonstrated capability to work autonomously, translating technical requirements into business insights.

• Comfortable navigating unfamiliar technical challenges and determining a course of action with limited guidance, utilizing documentation, experimentation, source code, data, and other available resources.
