This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead medium to large-scale, multi-discipline nuclear projects from initial planning and design through implementation, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Collaborate with lead managers, discipline heads, and project teams across business units on technical scope, priorities, and deliverables.
• Manage client relationships and expectations by providing updates on progress, risks, and costs; facilitate performance and status review meetings.
• Oversee project scope, integrated master schedule, budget forecasts, performance metrics, project baselines, and critical path.
• Supervise project cost and schedule.
• Handle change orders and evaluate their impact on cost and schedule.
• Create project-specific design, project management, and/or commissioning management work plans.
• Conduct home-office or remote design and construction planning prior to field mobilization.
• Lead and manage design personnel.
• Monitor design, construction, and commissioning progress, cost, quality, scope, and safety.
• Perform risk assessments and formulate contingency plans for construction and commissioning risks.
• Report task progress and costs to the Project Manager, Project Director, and/or Client.
• Facilitate and participate in design project performance review meetings.
• Develop schedules, phasing plans, and lookaheads; track progress and maintain schedules.
• Keep project documentation current for both internal and external project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal design and construction teams, engineers, subcontractors, and others to assess project requirements.
• Review and oversee contracts and deliverables from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Address disputes or claims arising from contract performance.
• Ensure projects comply with estimated costs, stay within budget, and maintain profitability.
• Supervise field staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.
• Oversee close-out activities, including final inspections, punch list resolution, and documentation handover.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.
• Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and orderly by adhering to S&L standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience in operations, along with relevant industry experience.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in the nuclear industry, including at least 5 years managing multiple projects or leading a team.
• Comprehensive experience in design and/or construction.
• Familiarity with nuclear projects.
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is advantageous.
• Experience with EPC and GC contract models.
• 8 to 10+ years in progressive leadership roles, overseeing design, operations, and/or construction teams and managing clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong communication skills to engage clearly and intentionally with various stakeholders, vendors, teammates, and business partners.
• Experience in determining staffing needs, conducting interviews, and selecting personnel.
• Proficient in establishing and effectively utilizing project control tools for managing large construction projects.
• Understanding of a process-oriented approach to Project Management and start-up testing work.
• Skilled in developing/reviewing Facility Upgrades for Nuclear Power Plants.
• Knowledgeable in Nuclear Plant Operations, preferably with AP1000 Plant Operations experience.
• Familiar with Nuclear industry Standard Design Process (SDP).
• Proven experience in building client relationships.
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and health standards for large industrial construction sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
