This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborate with Real World Data leadership and senior stakeholders to enhance and implement the product roadmap.
• Convert product strategy into a clear product vision, requirements, specifications, and execution plans.
• Define use cases and create products tailored for new customer segments alongside business, development, marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Identify product requirements, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Assist in developing business cases and analyzing return on investment.
• Prepare presentations that convey strategic initiatives, business value, and technical concepts.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, and innovations relevant to Real World Data products.
• Lead coordination of product development throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog across cross-functional teams.
• Align release planning and delivery timelines with project and delivery teams.
• Clarify requirements and delivery expectations with technical teams, business partners, and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate discussions for decision-making, requirement validation, and workflow optimization.
• Communicate product progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and leadership.
• Act as the main contact for product requirements, feature definitions, and product-related inquiries.
• Oversee product documentation, requirements, and supporting materials.
• Ensure that products and features fulfill requirements and meet acceptance criteria.
• Support Agile methodologies and engage in continuous improvement activities.
• Drive initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and enhance stakeholder engagement.
• High school diploma or GED with 9 or more years of experience in data product development, product ownership, product management, or business analysis; or an Associate degree with 7 or more years of such experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Life Sciences with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience using tools and methodologies for requirements management, backlog prioritization, or Agile workflows.
• A minimum of 2 years building products utilizing Real World Data within the life sciences or healthcare sector.
• At least 2 years of experience with project lifecycle management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• A minimum of 2 years of familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards pertinent to Real World Data and Real World Evidence.
• Knowledge of Real World Data, Real World Evidence, and the healthcare or life sciences industry.
• Understanding of HIPAA, data privacy laws, AI governance principles, and related industry standards.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Capacity to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Skills in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: Master's degree in a relevant field with 3 or more years of pertinent experience.
• Preferred: 2 or more years contributing to business case development, product strategy, or product roadmap planning.
• Preferred: 2 or more years working with healthcare, life sciences, clinical, laboratory, claims, or other real-world healthcare datasets.
• Preferred: 2 or more years supporting Agile product development teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Preferred: 2 or more years utilizing AI-enabled tools for product development, requirements management, or operational efficiency.
