Lead Product Manager, NetSuite Order-to-Cash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee the complete Order-to-Cash product lifecycle within NetSuite, inclusive of roadmap management, enhancements, and ongoing improvements.

• Act as the principal subject matter expert for Order-to-Cash processes, encompassing order management, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and collections.

• Define, document, and refine Order-to-Cash business processes for the Finance, Accounting, and Revenue Operations teams.

• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of billing and revenue recognition.

• Maintain a rolling roadmap of business capabilities covering a minimum of four quarters.

• Align priorities across NetSuite ERP, SuiteBilling, and Advanced Revenue Management.

• Offer strategic insights on process design and technology landscape, actively participating in implementation.

• Collect business requirements through stakeholder meetings and organized discovery sessions.

• Oversee the prioritization of projects and enhancements, along with deliverables and timelines.

• Lead and support NetSuite ERP initiatives related to Order-to-Cash and billing.

• Create functional and high-level technical design documents and specifications.

• Work in tandem with offshore NetSuite development teams during sprint delivery cycles.

• Implement and optimize business processes in accordance with industry best practices.

• Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams regarding upstream system impacts and CRM/CPQ integrations.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.

• Document process flows and requirements that align with agile methodologies.

• Establish scalable processes within the technology organization.

• Provide end-user training on NetSuite Order-to-Cash functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of IT experience across the entire software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

• More than 5 years of direct experience with NetSuite ERP, involving configuration, administration, and process design.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Order-to-Cash processes, such as order management, billing/invoicing, revenue recognition, and collections.

• Proven experience in delivering Order-to-Cash solutions in intricate, multi-entity or subscription-billing settings.

• Strong understanding of downstream financial processes including revenue recognition (ASC 606), accounts receivable, and financial closing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Order-to-Cash concepts, including pricing and billing rules, revenue schedules, approval workflows, invoice generation, and collections management.

• Exceptional leadership and project delivery capabilities with a solid track record of managing cross-functional initiatives.

• Strong communication abilities for engaging both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.

• Aptitude for prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• A Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a technical or business discipline is required.

• NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, Administrator) are strongly preferred.
