Lead Product Designer – User Experience, Usability Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive, high-impact usability and UX research projects from start to finish.

• Conduct foundational research to guide product and design strategies for intricate initiatives.

• Analyze qualitative data gathered from usability tests, interviews, participatory design, and heuristic evaluations.

• Integrate qualitative findings with quantitative and behavioral data.

• Convert research insights into actionable recommendations and design suggestions.

• Identify trends, synergies, and broader opportunities across various projects.

• Convey research insights through compelling storytelling to developers, executives, and other stakeholders.

• Utilize approved AI tools for study setup, analysis, synthesis, desk research, survey creation, and reporting.

• Design and assess research for agentic, conversational, and personalized AI experiences.

• Promote responsible AI practices, including the handling of participant data and PII, awareness of model limitations and biases, disclosure, and human validation.

• Maintain a well-organized, accessible, and AI-queryable repository of research knowledge.

• Link research insights to product, design, and engineering processes.

• Serve as a thought partner in discovery, strategy, and problem framing.

• Navigate ambiguity across varying priorities, workstreams, and problem areas.

• Guide and mentor researchers and designers.

• Assess and assist in the adoption of new research methods, AI tools, and innovative working practices.

• Participate in internal practice community meetings and itD networking events.

• Collaborate on industry thought leadership, client case studies, educational materials, and Digital Transformation practice content.

• Partner with leadership on career advancement opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing digital product research experience across mobile and/or omnichannel platforms.

• 5–8+ years of experience in UX research, product research, or a related research capacity.

• Hands-on experience with research tools, AI-enabled workflows, or innovative methods to enhance research quality, speed, or influence.

• Proven track record of leading complex research endeavors that impact product, design, and cross-functional strategies.
