Lead Product Designer – Contract Talent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage in all phases of the product design process, which includes problem framing, design research, conceptualization, prototyping, envisioning future directions, creating high-resolution designs, and developing workflows.

• Foster impactful product outcomes in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.

• Communicate and collaborate on design initiatives across various organizational functions.

• Influence stakeholders and build consensus while navigating uncertainty.

• Utilize systems thinking to enhance the overall user ecosystem and optimize end-to-end user flows.

• Champion and implement human-centered design methodologies within the product squad.

• Design product and service experiences tailored for candidates, staffing professionals, and clients.

• Work closely with product management, engineering teams, peers, and user researchers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong craftsmanship in user research, prototyping, interaction design, and visual design.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

• Capability to develop innovative end-to-end experiences across web and mobile platforms, grounded in human insights, data, and business objectives.

• Experience in leveraging analytics and user research to inform decisions and iterate on products.

• Familiarity with design systems, including their maintenance and application.

• Experience collaborating with distributed teams.

• Background in working alongside product management and engineering teams.

• Experience in leading or facilitating workshops, design sprints, and design studios.

• Ability to partner with product owners, engineers, and user researchers.

• Background check required as a condition of employment.

• Preference for candidates located in the Western time zone.
