This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the design strategy and implementation for one or more product pillars from the discovery phase to delivery.
• Convert customer requirements, business objectives, product strategies, and technical limitations into design direction and experience roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to establish product vision, prioritize initiatives, and unify teams around high-quality results.
• Shape leadership decisions by applying customer empathy, data analysis, product insights, storytelling, and design reasoning.
• Conduct design quality assessments and establish standards for usability, accessibility, interaction quality, visual consistency, and alignment with design systems.
• Enhance the quality of various teams by mentoring designers, refining critiques, reinforcing shared patterns, and simplifying the adoption of standards.
• Establish and promote metrics for design quality and impact, including usability indicators, accessibility adherence, task completion rates, adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Navigate complex discovery and design processes amid uncertainty by synthesizing inputs, framing decisions, and assisting teams in moving forward with clarity.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders, mentor designers, and influence product direction, design standards, and team culture across product pillars.
• Over 7 years of relevant experience in product design.
• At least 2 years in a leadership, mentorship, or design direction role.
• Experience in SaaS, B2B, platform, or other complex digital product environments.
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional work; applications without a portfolio will not be accepted.
• Proven experience in leading data-driven product design across research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content strategy, and usability testing.
• Outstanding visual and interaction design skills.
• Familiarity with designing AI-driven or intelligent interfaces.
• Experience collaborating with teams focused on machine learning, data, automation, or platforms.
• Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns, and scalable product experience decisions.
• Experience in influencing design direction for significant product areas, systems, platforms, or pillars.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership abilities with product managers, engineers, data partners, customer-facing teams, senior stakeholders, and designers.
• Superior communication and facilitation skills.
• Required experience utilizing AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis, or workflow enhancement.
• A passion for advancing team operations, design standards, processes, tools, and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones and cultural contexts.
• A commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and ethical design practices.
• The autonomy to influence design direction across one or more strategically significant product pillars.
• A meaningful impact on product quality, customer outcomes, and roadmap direction in collaboration with product, engineering, and senior leadership.
