Lead Producer, Publishing – 6-month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with development studios and internal publishing teams to ensure timely milestone achievements.

• Maintain alignment across cross-functional teams on high-profile AAA projects.

• Oversee daily operations across features, workstreams, or entire titles.

• Guide project plans while managing the trade-offs between scope, schedule, and costs.

• Identify, highlight, escalate, and mitigate risks effectively.

• Foster relationships within studio and publishing teams to address misalignment proactively.

• Draft and deliver updates, presentations, milestone documents, and reports for stakeholders.

• Champion player experience and integrate player impact into prioritization processes.

• Monitor quality risks and facilitate the resolution of known issues across platforms.

• Report directly to the Executive Producer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in game production, publishing production, product management, or a related field, with experience covering a title's entire lifecycle, including post-launch.

• Experience with live service titles or ongoing content delivery pipelines.

• Comfortable working with distributed teams across varying time zones.

• Proven history of collaboration with developers and internal publishing departments (Marketing, BD, QA, Research, etc.).

• Competence in managing schedules and stakeholder communications across multiple concurrent projects.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify risks early, and triage issues swiftly.

• Excellent writing and meeting leadership skills, with the capability to promote alignment through documentation.

• Skill in building trust with partners through effective communication and a player-centric approach.

• A passion for gaming and the ability to articulate what constitutes “great” within a genre.

• Experience in managing feature-level budgets or financial workflows is advantageous.
