β’ Develop pricing strategies and packaging solutions for GitLab's product range, which includes Premium, Ultimate, GitLab Duo, Flex, Orbit, and AI-driven and usage-based offerings.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Product Marketing, Finance, go-to-market teams, Sales, Deal Desk, and fulfillment.
β’ Innovate new commercial frameworks and outline strategies for upcoming products.
β’ Enhance pricing and packaging for current offerings and advance GitLab's comprehensive monetization strategy.
β’ Examine market dynamics, competitor pricing structures, and customer usage data.
β’ Formulate hypotheses, conduct analyses, validate results, and propose actionable recommendations.
β’ Execute pricing evaluations and devise plans to capitalize on identified opportunities.
β’ Assess business models and monetization techniques, particularly in AI, credit-based pricing, and usage-oriented products.
β’ Prioritize product launches and align new SKUs with the appropriate products and features.
β’ Track the impact of post-launch pricing and packaging adjustments and integrate insights into the ongoing strategy.
β’ Clearly communicate pricing suggestions, influence senior leadership, and foster stakeholder alignment.
β’ Extensive experience in leading pricing strategies and analyses for software as a service (SaaS) products or complex portfolios.
β’ Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
β’ Capability to utilize data and business intelligence tools such as Sisense or Tableau.
β’ Strong analytical abilities with the skill to distill complex data into straightforward, actionable recommendations.
β’ Demonstrated experience in framing ambiguous or complex issues and guiding executive decisions amid conflicting priorities.
β’ Effective communication skills for engaging different audiences and influencing senior management.
β’ Proven ability to maintain alignment among cross-functional stakeholders while juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
β’ Intellectual curiosity and the ability to navigate ambiguity comfortably.
