Lead Optimizely Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create enterprise-level Optimizely solutions that align with business goals, technical specifications, and industry best practices.

• Develop scalable architectures for content management, integrations, personalization, analytics, and digital experience platforms.

• Offer technical leadership across multiple projects and assist teams in navigating complex implementation challenges.

• Generate architecture documentation, technical specifications, and presentations suitable for executive audiences.

• Lead technical discovery processes, feasibility assessments, and risk identification efforts.

• Assist engineering teams with proof-of-concept initiatives, complex implementations, and significant technical decisions.

• Set standards for best practices in content modeling, headless delivery, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Design integrations with CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, analytics, and identity systems.

• Establish strategies for data collection, event tracking, and analytics.

• Create and implement AI-driven experiences utilizing Optimizely Opal, LLM services, and cutting-edge AI technologies.

• Develop AI governance frameworks and guidelines addressing privacy, compliance, content quality, and human oversight.

• Advocate for AI-enabled software delivery, encompassing code generation, testing automation, and developer productivity tools.

• Counsel enterprise clients on technology roadmaps, platform upgrades, and MarTech ecosystems.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads, and Creative teams.

• Participate in business development, solution shaping, client workshops, proposals, estimations, and pre-sales initiatives.

• Assess emerging technologies and enhance Valtech offerings, accelerators, and delivery standards.

• Mentor architects and developers while managing a small team of direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise web development, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or a similar leadership role.

• Extensive expertise with Optimizely CMS 12 and/or SaaS CMS, including multiple enterprise implementations where you served as the lead architect.

• Strong background in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Optimizely APIs.

• Familiarity with headless and hybrid architectures using Optimizely Graph and/or Content Delivery API.

• Experience in front-end integration using React, Next.js, or comparable frameworks.

• Solid understanding of content modeling, personalization, multisite, and multilingual implementations.

• Proven experience integrating CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, search, and identity platforms.

• Experience in designing analytics and data solutions utilizing platforms like Optimizely Data Platform, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, or BigQuery.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering production AI capabilities, including LLM integrations, agents, and RAG solutions.

• Proficient in Optimizely DXP, Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.

• Background in supporting estimation, solution shaping, and pre-sales activities.

• Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing engineering or architecture teams.
