This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver advanced Level 2 post-sales support for Lentronics optical products, such as SONET/SDH, MPLS-TP multiplexers, and network management systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to investigate, reproduce, and resolve intricate technical issues.
• Lead comprehensive system analysis and root cause investigations.
• Work alongside Product Line, Engineering, and Quality teams to provide swift and precise technical solutions.
• Assist Sales and Commercial teams with technical inquiries and design recommendations.
• Participate in 24/7 rotational coverage for priority customer issues as part of the North American Support team.
• Develop, execute, and continuously enhance training programs for customers, partners, and internal staff on Lentronics optical solutions.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions globally for utilities, industrial, and critical infrastructure clients.
• Customize course content to meet regional needs, customer applications, and emerging technologies.
• Maintain and refresh training materials, technical documentation, and knowledge base content.
• Provide mentorship and skill development for internal engineers and trainers around the globe.
• Represent GE Vernova at user groups, trade shows, and international training events.
• Showcase system configurations and troubleshooting techniques.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Technical Support, Field Service, or Customer Training within the telecommunications or industrial networking sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of optical communications systems, including SONET/SDH, MPLS-TP, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours technical support rotations as necessary.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.
• Proven track record in designing or facilitating global training programs.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Customer-centric mindset with the ability to tailor communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering technical training to customers or partners on a global scale.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally and internationally, typically for one week at a time, and occasionally for longer durations.
