This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct network engineering to support IT infrastructure, including fiber-optic systems, government networks, private 5G, expeditionary environments, and Low-SWAP technologies.
• Integrate infrastructure capabilities into cohesive solutions.
• Collaborate with leads in the 5G, cybersecurity, and fiber/network domains to design unified platforms.
• Comply with established standards, processes, and policies.
• Offer architecture, engineering, and security support for IT infrastructure and mission IT systems.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, administration, operations and maintenance, documentation, and engineering activities for network services.
• Maintain and support switches, routers, firewalls, and telecommunications equipment.
• Manage configurations utilizing configuration management systems.
• Supervise network architecture, integration strategy, interoperability planning, technical risk management, validation methodologies, and operational readiness.
• Review engineering deliverables and sanction implementation standards.
• Assist in issue escalation and resolution.
• Coordinate technical interactions with Government stakeholders and vendor teams.
• BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Over 15 years of network engineering experience with a focus on 5G technologies and familiarity with the outlined responsibilities.
• More than 5 years of technical leadership experience.
• Possession of a Secret Clearance.
• Must currently hold a Secret clearance and be eligible for re-acquisition.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Proficient in 5G Wireless Networks, Network Development, and Network Management.
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of a major airport.
• Willingness to travel 25% to 50% of the time.
