This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive marketing operations at Sureel, encompassing category strategy, positioning, messaging, product marketing, demand generation, thought leadership, branding, and execution.
• Take charge of product marketing across the Sureel portfolio, transforming technical capabilities into value propositions, use cases, differentiation, and messaging tailored for each customer segment.
• Develop sales and executive materials such as pitches, case studies, demos, and collateral.
• Generate targeted demand among qualified rights holders, AI companies, platforms, and ecosystem partners.
• Establish communication channels and initiatives to educate, nurture, and engage key audiences.
• Drive thought leadership initiatives throughout Sureel and within the AI rights and licensing domain.
• Enhance Sureel's brand and market positioning across various audiences and channels.
• Manage event and industry representation, including conferences, forums, working groups, and communities.
• Convert pilots, integrations, partner outcomes, research, and product data into compelling proof points and case studies.
• Monitor market narratives related to AI rights and licensing and continually refine Sureel's positioning.
• Assist leadership in announcements, conferences, and public relations in collaboration with Warner Music Group's brand and communications teams.
• Oversee relationships with agencies, influencers, and creative partners, ensuring alignment with brand and budget considerations.
• Implement repeatable marketing systems, including templates, timelines, budgets, and measurement processes.
• Supervise the production of demo videos and other creative assets that communicate Sureel's products and value.
• Manage confidential and proprietary information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
• Report directly to Co-President Aileen Crowley and collaborate with product, commercial, and client functions.
• Extensive experience in marketing, product marketing, category creation, or communications within the music, media, enterprise technology, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of owning marketing for a brand or platform from strategy development through execution and results measurement.
• Solid understanding of the music industry and the communication dynamics among artists, labels, publishers, and platforms.
• Proficient in managing data and financial details, including overseeing a detailed marketing budget.
• Exceptional storytelling skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts to make them clear, relevant, and engaging.
• Ability to build trust, exercise sound judgment regarding voice and messaging, and discern when to escalate issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for music, media, and AI.
• Experience as an initial or early marketing hire, responsible for building functions and processes from the ground up.
• Background in marketing to artists, labels, publishers, B2B platforms, or infrastructure companies.
• Proven success in raising awareness and driving adoption within a focused B2B, technology, or industry ecosystem.
• Experience managing email marketing campaigns.
• Active participation in discussions surrounding AI and music.
• Familiarity with marketing APIs, infrastructure, enterprise software, rights technology, marketplaces, or products that involve multiple senior stakeholders.
• Experience in translating technical standards, policy developments, research, or emerging industry frameworks into compelling market narratives.
