This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the complete marketing function at Sureel, which encompasses category strategy, positioning, messaging, product marketing, demand generation, thought leadership, brand development, and execution.
• Take charge of product marketing for the Sureel suite, converting technical capabilities into value propositions, use cases, differentiation, and messaging tailored to specific segments.
• Develop sales and executive materials such as pitches, case studies, demos, and marketing collateral.
• Generate targeted demand among qualified rights holders, AI companies, platforms, and ecosystem partners.
• Establish communication channels and programs designed to educate, nurture, and engage key audiences.
• Spearhead thought leadership initiatives across Sureel and within the AI rights and licensing sector.
• Enhance Sureel's brand and market positioning across various audiences and channels.
• Manage event and industry representation at conferences, forums, working groups, and community engagements.
• Transform pilots, integrations, partner outcomes, research, and product data into compelling proof points and case studies.
• Monitor market dynamics influenced by AI companies, rights holders, regulators, standards bodies, competitors, and the media.
• Assist leadership with announcements, conferences, and public relations by collaborating with the Warner Music Group brand and communications teams.
• Oversee relationships with agencies, influencers, and creative partners, ensuring alignment with brand and budgetary constraints.
• Develop repeatable marketing systems, which include templates, timelines, budgets, and measurement processes.
• Supervise the production of demo videos and other creative outputs that communicate the value of Sureel's products.
• Manage confidential and proprietary information with utmost discretion and integrity.
• Report directly to Co-President Aileen Crowley and collaborate with product, commercial, and client functions.
• Extensive experience in marketing, product marketing, category creation, or communications within music, media, enterprise technology, or infrastructure.
• Proven track record of owning marketing for a brand or platform, from strategic development to execution and result measurement.
• Knowledge of the music industry landscape, including how artists, labels, publishers, and platforms interact.
• Proficient in managing detailed marketing budgets and understanding financial intricacies.
• Strong storytelling capabilities, including the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment in voice and messaging decisions, with an awareness of when to escalate issues.
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in music, media, and AI.
• Experience as an initial or early marketing hire, establishing functions and processes from the ground up.
• Background in marketing to artists, labels, publishers, B2B platforms, or infrastructure firms.
• Proven success in raising awareness and driving adoption within a targeted B2B, technology, or industry ecosystem.
• Experience managing email marketing initiatives.
• Active participation in discussions surrounding AI and music.
• Familiarity with marketing APIs, infrastructure, enterprise software, rights technology, marketplaces, or products involving multiple senior stakeholders.
• Experience translating technical standards, policy developments, research, or emerging industry frameworks into market narratives.
