Lead Learning and Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +26 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct assessments to identify training needs specific to tools and platforms through data analysis, interviews, surveys, and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with the Ad Product Enablement team to create and deliver training on GO’s toolset, which includes Skai, Intentwise, MerchantSpring, SmartScout, AMC, and additional platforms.

• Simplify complex, technical, or jargon-laden platform content to provide clear and applicable training for varied audiences.

• Develop content utilizing adult learning theories and industry-leading practices.

• Create facilitator guides, participant materials, microlearning resources, job aids, and digital tools.

• Establish and sustain certification and proficiency frameworks.

• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools, and platform-specific reporting/analytics tools to create, manage, and evaluate training content.

• Design and implement change management training for the introduction of new tools and platforms.

• Oversee assigned training programs related to tools and platforms, including scoping, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and evaluation.

• Maintain the library of training content and resources.

• Offer personalized support, including coaching plans and one-on-one sessions.

• Coordinate external training resources as necessary.

• Monitor participant progress and certification/proficiency results.

• Employ learning analytics to assess training effectiveness and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Continuously improve content and delivery methods based on feedback and performance data.

• Stay updated on GO’s toolset, platform developments, and the retail media/ad tech landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, or talent development roles, preferably with a focus on technical/tool training.

• Proven experience in designing and facilitating training for diverse audiences within a corporate setting.

• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to analyze learning and platform data, translating insights into actionable enhancements.

• Strong technical and analytical skills, including familiarity with LMS and authoring tools, as well as platform-specific reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Skai, Intentwise, MerchantSpring, SmartScout, AMC).

• Proficient in Excel.

• Capability to transform complex, technical, or jargon-heavy material into clear and usable training resources.

• Creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to innovate in tool and platform training.

• Experience in digital or Amazon advertising (either agency or brand side), with knowledge of the retail media/ad tech sector.
