Lead Last Mile Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with site leadership to deliver support for all home delivery operations.

• Assist in managing daily operational tasks.

• Supervise a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process daily orders.

• Utilize operational metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies.

• Educate material handlers to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives.

• Cultivate positive working relationships with the warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver aides.

• Oversee the dispatch of contract carriers and address issues throughout the day.

• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify challenges, including route restructuring.

• Train and mentor contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Access to reliable transportation is necessary.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong mathematical skills and solid analytical capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
