📋 Description

• Oversee software engineering teams in the development of essential business applications

• Define the technical direction and establish architectural standards

• Propel initiatives for AWS cloud adoption and modernization

• Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, secure, and reliable

• Advocate for DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development methodologies

• Assist in incident resolution, promote operational excellence, and foster continuous improvement

• Offer technical guidance and take ownership of delivery for a team focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud-native AWS applications

• Influence architectural decisions, uphold engineering best practices, and design solutions across Spring Boot microservices, OpenSearch platforms, CI/CD, observability, and AWS infrastructure

• Collaborate with product, architecture, and platform teams

• Mentor engineers, enhance development processes, and ensure the successful achievement of business goals

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

• More than 10 years of experience in a similar role

• At least 5 years in a leadership position

• Over 10 years of Java development experience, including modern versions, Spring Boot, and microservices

• At least 5 years of experience in developing AWS cloud-native applications, including ECS/Fargate, IAM, RDS, ALB, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager

• Minimum of 5 years in a technical lead or software engineering lead role

• At least 5 years of experience with distributed systems and event-driven microservices, including API integration and performance optimization

• Over 3 years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices using Docker, GitHub, and observability tools

• Familiarity with Spring Boot, the latest Java versions, microservices architecture, REST API development, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, cloud architecture, observability and monitoring, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), SQL and NoSQL databases, event-driven architecture, API integration, and performance optimization
