This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Define the way systems, data, and services interconnect across Arden University.
• Create scalable, robust, and future-oriented integration solutions.
• Serve as the intermediary between business stakeholders and the Integration Development Team.
• Convert intricate demands into straightforward, prioritized, and developer-ready specifications.
• Ensure alignment of requirements with Arden’s integration strategy, middleware roadmap, and event-driven architecture.
• Promote enhanced utilization of APIs, automation, cloud platforms, and reusable integration patterns.
• Empower Software Engineers to concentrate on high-quality design, development, and support.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and discussions to gather requirements.
• Generate technical documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and data mappings.
• Recognize risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
• Collaborate with software engineers throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.
• Manage and optimize technical backlogs.
• Examine business processes and pinpoint opportunities for automation and integration.
• Proficient in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Capable of translating business needs into clear technical specifications and requirements.
• Strong grasp of APIs, middleware, system integrations, message brokers, event-driven architectures, and cloud services.
• Experience in creating technical documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data mappings, and functional/non-functional requirements.
• Skilled in facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements discussions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to constructively challenge requirements and identify risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Kanban delivery methods, including Jira.
• Experience in working within technical delivery teams supporting software, integration, middleware, or cloud-based solutions.
• Proven experience collaborating with software engineers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Skilled in managing and refining technical backlogs.
• Experience analyzing business processes and identifying automation and integration opportunities.
• Understanding of data transformation and asynchronous messaging.
• Eligibility to work in the UK; sponsorship may not be available for certain roles.
