Lead Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Oversee hands-on development across front-end, back-end services, APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

• Design and enhance the architecture and data models for matching, search, reporting, and analytics.

• Construct and refine AI-driven matching between supply and demand on the platform.

• Create scalable REST APIs and integrations with logistics providers, partner platforms, and external data sources.

• Develop responsive web workflows and dashboards that monitor transactions from offer to delivery.

• Establish engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and security practices.

• Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership on technical discovery, estimation, and solution design.

• Mentor developers, resolve complex production issues, and participate in incident response.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on full-stack work.

• Strong skills in back-end and service-oriented architecture, encompassing APIs, business logic, data access, and distributed systems.

• Modern front-end experience in building responsive web applications with user-friendly interfaces.

• Proven track record in designing, testing, and scaling production-ready REST APIs and integrations.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization.

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.

• Development experience with as many of the following technologies as possible: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, React or another modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework, AWS or another leading cloud platform, Docker and containerized cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability tools, AI/LLM APIs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Experience in building marketplace, SaaS, e-commerce, logistics, or other multi-party platforms.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, microservices, and asynchronous processing.

• Experience in integrating CRM/ERP systems, logistics platforms, or external data providers.

• Skilled in building reporting, analytics dashboards, or data pipelines for operational decision-making.

• Experience working in regulated environments where security, auditability, and traceability are essential.
