Lead Full-Stack AI Engineer, Python/Typescript – Advertising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical strategy of projects and make strategic architectural choices for full-stack applications that incorporate AI services.

• Develop and construct robust backend services in Python and create user-friendly, interactive frontend interfaces utilizing React, Vue, or Angular.

• Design and manage data processing pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM integrations.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to both junior and senior developers.

• Promote the adoption of best engineering practices.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and QA to transform complex requirements into technical roadmaps and deliverable software.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding the feasibility and implementation of cutting-edge AI and web technologies, including SLMs, Agentic AI, and multimodal models.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.

• Proficient backend skills in Python, utilizing frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• Modern frontend expertise with React, Vue, or Angular (TypeScript is preferred).

• Practical AI/LLM experience, including RAG patterns and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• Strong skills in API design, working with REST, GraphQL, and real-time interfaces.

• Solid engineering practices, including proficiency in Git, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.

• Experience with both relational and vector databases.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts to varied audiences.

• Must reside in Latin America.
