Lead Financial Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee more than 70 high-net-worth client relationships, taking full responsibility for their management and enhancement.

• Establish clear planning and investment strategies.

• Spearhead the development of comprehensive and meticulous financial and investment plans utilizing MoneyGuide Pro, Kwanti, Excel, proprietary frameworks, and templates.

• Continuously maintain and adjust plans over time in collaboration with clients.

• Coordinate efforts among CSAs, Traders, Founders, and other Lead Planners to provide exceptional client service.

• Conduct interviews, provide training, and mentor team members.

• Actively participate in team meetings.

• Lead specific non-client related initiatives.

• Assist in the firm's development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess the CFP® designation.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal financial planning.

• At least 3 years of experience managing high-net-worth relationships.

• Over 10 years of total professional experience.

• Successfully created over 100 complete financial plans using leading software (MoneyGuide Pro, eMoney, or RightCapital), with at least 50 plans for high-net-worth clients.

• Proven expertise in at least one of the three leading financial planning software programs.

• Capability to analyze multiple scenarios, produce custom reports, conduct insurance needs assessments, and evaluate tax planning strategies.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup tables.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized and respectful of client service standards and deadlines.

• Ability to perform detailed tasks while connecting them to the broader client context.

• Comfortable admitting when unsure and seeking assistance.

• Consistently display curiosity, determination, service orientation, rigor, and clarity.

• Must reside within the United States.

• Availability to work from 9 AM to 5 PM ET.

• Preferred: Expertise in MoneyGuidePro.

• Preferred: CPA, CFA, Trading, or Behavioral expertise.

• Preferred: Experience in a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment, ideally fee-only and growth-oriented.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Schwab.

• Preferred: Proven track record of effective remote work.

• Preferred: Experience thriving in a small company or startup culture.
