Lead Finance Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, optimize, govern, and create the strategic roadmap for CareDx’s Finance systems portfolio, which includes NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, FloQast, and related applications.

• Act as the primary technical authority and subject matter expert for Finance systems architecture, configuration, integrations, security, and support.

• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Internal Audit, IT, and business stakeholders on financial operations, reporting, period-end close, compliance, and process enhancements.

• Establish system standards, documentation, operating procedures, governance processes, and rigorous change management practices.

• Convert accounting and finance requirements into NetSuite solutions covering close, revenue, billing, procure-to-pay, accounts payable, purchasing, cash, inventory, intercompany, consolidations, reporting, and audit support.

• Enhance workflows, reports, reconciliations, saved searches, dashboards, and exception reporting for monthly and quarterly closing processes.

• Develop reporting capabilities for various subsidiaries, entities, departments, and management reporting layers.

• Supervise external consultants, implementation partners, vendors, and managed service providers, managing scope, timelines, budgets, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Assist with integrations, data mapping, master data governance, acquisition integration, data migration, and post-close stabilization efforts.

• Provide user training, guidance, job aids, intake prioritization, and support-ticket management via ServiceNow or similar tools.

• Assist with external audits, SOX controls, access reviews, segregation-of-duties analysis, change-management documentation, control remediation, risk assessments, and finance technology governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in NetSuite administration, finance systems, and ERP implementation, with hands-on configuration duties in a complex corporate environment.

• Strong technical expertise in NetSuite, including roles and permissions, workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, custom records, forms, bundles, release management, sandbox testing, and production deployment practices.

• At least one year of experience using or administering Coupa.

• A working knowledge of core accounting and finance processes, such as close, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, revenue, consolidations, intercompany, reporting, and audit support.

• Experience in managing or coordinating external consultants, developers, or implementation partners.

• Familiarity with integrations between NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, and other finance or operational systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical issues to Accounting and Finance stakeholders.

• Proven ability to take ownership, prioritize competing requests, manage details meticulously, and function within a public-company control environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in a public company, with SOX, external audit, regulated life sciences, healthcare, or similar controlled environments.

• Preferred: Experience supporting acquisitions, subsidiary expansion, multi-entity reporting, post-close integration, or ERP stabilization after business combinations.

• Preferred: Background in expense management, procurement, contract lifecycle, warehouse/inventory, banking, reporting, or other systems that integrate with NetSuite.

• Preferred: NetSuite certification, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript familiarity, or comparable technical credentials.

• Preferred: Experience with SAP Concur, ServiceNow, procurement systems, reporting tools, or similar finance application experience.
