Lead Enrollment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Execute intricate enrollment functions for both commercial and government payors.

• Take ownership of, coordinate, and implement non-professional/facility and provider enrollment tasks throughout the system.

• Address and manage advanced and escalated provider enrollment challenges.

• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and promptness of the enrollment procedures.

• Aid in maintaining revenue cycle integrity, ensuring billing readiness, and mitigating reimbursement risks.

• Offer daily functional leadership, coordination, and support to Enrollment Specialists.

• Provide training, mentorship, and oversee quality control.

• Assist in the implementation of standardized workflows and track performance trends.

• Contribute to ongoing initiatives for process improvement.

• Act as a liaison among enrollment operations, revenue cycle, contracting, and operational stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• A minimum of 4–5 years of provider enrollment experience is required.

• Proven ability to independently manage complex or escalated enrollment issues is essential.

• Experience as a subject matter expert in PECOS facility/non-facility enrollment is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• CPES or a similar certification is preferred.

• Experience serving as a subject matter expert, trainer, or lead resource is strongly preferred.

• Direct experience with non-professional/facility enrollment is strongly preferred.

• Experience in coordinating system-level or multi-entity enrollment activities is strongly preferred.
