This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Design and develop essential AI tools and platforms for the creation, deployment, and management of AI agents, workflows, applications, and automations.
• Create and implement APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, and workflows that make AI capabilities accessible to both technical and non-technical users.
• Set production-grade benchmarks for reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Mentor and guide cross-functional teams in the implementation of AI-enhanced processes and workflows.
• Generate documentation, best practices, and enablement resources to expedite AI adoption and minimize time-to-value.
• Develop feedback mechanisms and measurement frameworks to monitor AI adoption, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Engineering, Security, and other engineering divisions on the deployment and maintenance of AI tools.
• Partner with external vendors to explore partnership opportunities and assess existing solutions.
• Consistently meet deadlines outlined in roadmaps and backlogs while managing multiple projects.
• Produce comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate across global time zones.
• Over 8 years of substantial engineering experience.
• More than 2 years of direct experience in developing generative AI tools.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, and AI orchestration platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design and construct scalable platforms, CLIs, SDKs, APIs, and other developer tools.
• Principal-level engineering judgment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in data engineering and architecture.
• Proficiency in RDBMS, Spark/Flink, Event Bus (Kafka), Lucene (Elasticsearch), and Data Mesh implementation.
• Experience with Databricks, encompassing observability, monitoring, security, and reliability engineering practices.
• Expertise in documenting tools and data products for self-service use by non-technical users.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing concurrent projects using JIRA or other agile project management tools.
• Openness to working across different time zones and odd hours if required.
• Skills in technical coaching and enablement.
• A passion for live music and events is a bonus.
• Previous experience in Data Engineering, BI, Analysis, and/or Full Stack Engineering is advantageous.
