Lead Director, Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Spearhead strategic initiatives from the planning phase to execution, ensuring they align with organizational objectives, timelines, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with executive leadership, healthcare providers, community organizations, and cross-disciplinary teams to promote healthcare innovation, population health, health equity, and Medicaid-centered initiatives.

• Establish program governance, oversee risks and key performance indicators, and execute mitigation plans.

• Create executive-level presentations, recommendations, and communications that translate intricate business challenges into actionable insights.

• Direct provider partnership initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities that support value-based care, quality enhancement, and organizational goals.

• Guide, mentor, and develop team members while cultivating accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.

• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and facilitate enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in healthcare strategy, program management, business transformation, consulting, managed care, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and nurturing high-performing teams.

• Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders and align with organizational priorities.

• Exceptional presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to summarize intricate initiatives to facilitate decision-making.

• Experience working directly with senior executives and delivering strategic recommendations to leadership audiences.

• Strong skills in relationship-building, collaboration, and influence, with the ability to achieve results in a matrixed environment.

• Familiarity with Medicaid managed care, Medicaid waiver programs, healthcare policy, or public-sector healthcare initiatives.

• Experience in leading healthcare transformation, population health, health equity, provider engagement, or value-based care programs.

• Background in management consulting within healthcare or related fields.

• Experience in crafting executive communications, governance frameworks, and strategic planning processes.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
