Lead DevOps Engineer – AI-Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure along with CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate deployment processes, operational workflows, and developer interactions.

• Enhance platform reliability, security, and observability features.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite engineering delivery and minimize manual tasks.

• Provide support and guidance to colleagues while advancing toward a DevOps leadership role.

• Stabilize ongoing DevOps initiatives and boost delivery speed within a 6-month timeframe.

• Identify areas for automation and operational enhancements within 6 months.

• Achieve highly automated, reliable, and observable deployment processes within a year.

• Significantly diminish operational toil through automation and AI-driven practices within a year.

• Collaborate with product engineering teams, platform, security, data, and cloud experts, as well as cross-functional stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related domains.

• Proficient hands-on experience with AWS and a good understanding of Azure.

• Strong expertise in infrastructure as code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.

• Solid skills in Linux, Git, and administration of production systems.

• Experience in developing automation solutions using Python or similar programming languages.

• Background in managing and securing production environments.

• AI-native approach with regular usage of tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar applications.

• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

• Experience working in regulated sectors such as healthcare, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.

• AWS certifications are a plus.
