
Lead Derivatives Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of the complete collateral and margin operations for designated OTC derivative portfolios, which includes margin calls, eligibility assessments, haircuts, substitutions, settlements, and resolution of disputes.
• Manage intricate credit support agreements and assess collateral adequacy, compliance with agreement terms, operational risks, and exceptions.
• Lead the forecasting of initial margins and conduct sensitivity analyses for variation margins.
• Oversee funding and liquidity processes related to hedging service arrangements.
• Act as the primary operational liaison and escalation point for structured reinsurance counterparties.
• Supervise trade lifecycle processes, accounting entries, reconciliations, and downstream reporting in accordance with GAAP and statutory standards.
• Address operational, accounting, valuation, and reporting discrepancies through root-cause analysis and corrective measures.
• Spearhead cross-departmental projects and process enhancements aimed at fortifying controls, increasing automation, minimizing manual efforts, and boosting scalability.
• Develop, sustain, and improve SOX controls, operating procedures, and governance practices; assist with audits and remediate control deficiencies.
• Offer technical support to team members and provide advice to partners in Trading, Treasury, Accounting, Reporting, Risk, Legal, and Technology.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in derivative accounting, finance, or other related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
