Lead Data Integration Engineer – Epic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop the vision and execution of data integration standards concerning Epic and the broader enterprise.

• Formulate short-term tactical solutions that align with long-term data integration best practices.

• Work collaboratively with DVA IT and Epic on data governance, stewardship, and enterprise integration frameworks.

• Promote interoperability standards and set best practices for ensuring data accuracy.

• Spearhead Epic interoperability initiatives throughout the enterprise.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and development teams to define integration standards and assess solution designs.

• Manage the development of interoperability and Epic technology platforms along with associated support.

• Establish data architecture standards, best practices, metadata, and data integration processes.

• Design and oversee data exchange, transformation, and loading solutions, including file transfers, HL7, FHIR, and other exchange methods.

• Support planning, estimates, resource management, solution design, and effective stakeholder communication.

• Cultivate relationships with business owners and architects to advance enterprise data integration roadmaps.

• Supervise the development of interoperability processes and evaluate trading-partner solution designs.

• Propose tools, software, applications, and systems that align with data technology objectives.

• Mentor, train, and enhance the skills of development team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 8-10 years of pertinent experience.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Epic interoperability and integration solutions.

• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, APIs, file transfers, and integration with enterprise applications.
