Lead Copywriter – Email & Retention

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Craft and manage campaigns and flows in Klaviyo for high-volume, intricate DTC accounts.

• Transform briefs from the Retention Manager into compelling copy for promotional strategies, product education, launches, and seasonal events like Black Friday.

• Generate innovative ideas that extend beyond the execution of briefs.

• Develop tone-of-voice guidelines tailored for each brand.

• Create a library of best practices for common email formats.

• Design AI prompts and workflows utilized by the team.

• Assess and provide constructive feedback on the copy produced by Retention Managers.

• Mentor Retention Managers to enhance their writing skills.

• Validate and assist in scaling the dedicated-copywriter model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native English or native Dutch speaker.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in writing email/CRM copy for e-commerce or DTC brands.

• Proven experience in crafting campaigns, flows, promotions, offers, and product education content.

• Background in an agency setting, handling multiple brands and tones simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• A portfolio showcasing actual sent emails, including results where applicable.

• Capability to articulate why specific copy was effective and what modifications could enhance it.

• Availability at least from 12–5 PM CE(S)T.

• Must be able to work remotely from an eligible location.

• Required to submit a portfolio or three sent emails, ideally with performance metrics.

• Must provide salary expectations, notice period, and additional application information.
