This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Conceptualize, design, and execute new functionalities utilizing the ServiceNow low-code platform based on prioritized product backlogs.
• Tackle complex challenges through innovative thinking, collaborative brainstorming with peers, and leveraging both internal and external resources.
• Develop service requests, request items, and tasks through workflow management.
• Oversee data flows from customers to support teams responsible for service delivery.
• Lead and assist in ServiceNow deployments and implementation teams.
• Conduct unit testing on developed features, including edge cases, and carry out peer code reviews.
• Engage in Agile meetings, such as user story grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Present to clients during sprint demonstrations and coordinate with intersecting teams.
• Contribute to the architecture of digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators during implementation.
• Share internal best practices and draft relevant white papers.
• Create proofs of concept and technical solutions for internal applications.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to modernize customer applications and enhance the ServiceNow platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Over 6 years of professional experience with the ServiceNow ecosystem executing project implementations within an Agile framework.
• More than 6 years of specialization in various offerings such as SPM (ITBM), CSM, HRSD, ITOM, Service Portal, ITSM, and Service Provider (Domain Separation).
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and CSV data models.
• Extensive experience in creating and managing integrations, including SOAP, REST, SSO, SAML, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, MID Servers, Ebonding, API development, data migration, and Flow Designer automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integrations, DevSecOps, security-in-the-pipeline, and code review processes.
• Understanding of IT delivery methodologies and the ability to lead implementation teams based on solution design and architecture.
• Experience in configuring ServiceNow Flows, Spokes, Service Catalog, App Engine, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, and Event Management.
• Proficient in generating reports and dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) credentials.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, data concepts, and business workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain public trust clearance.
• Preferred: additional CIS certifications, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), cybersecurity certification like Security+, U.S. Federal Government experience, open-source technology experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management.
