Senior ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and sustain scalable ServiceNow solutions.

• Create custom applications, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, integrations, and automation.

• Adhere to ServiceNow development best practices and platform governance standards.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Maintain ServiceNow Discovery and configure as well as support Pattern-Based Discovery.

• Manage and troubleshoot Cloud Discovery.

• Configure and maintain Graph Connectors for Microsoft Azure, Cisco Meraki, and Juniper.

• Enhance CMDB health, reconciliation, identification rules, and CSDM alignment.

• Promote CMDB governance and data quality initiatives.

• Configure and support Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Time Cards, and Financial Management.

• Assist with portfolio planning, forecasting, and reporting.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders on enhancement requests.

• Support Hardware Asset Management and improve asset lifecycle automation.

• Facilitate procurement and receiving integrations.

• Maintain software and hardware asset processes.

• Develop and support enterprise application integrations.

• Ensure platform performance and stability.

• Participate in platform upgrades and assist with release management.

• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues.

• Ensure adherence to platform development standards.

• Mentor junior developers.

• Lead technical design discussions and review solution architecture.

• Assist with estimation and technical planning.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5–7 years of overall IT experience.

• Over 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

• Proven experience in delivering multiple end-to-end ServiceNow implementations.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Strategic Portfolio Management, IT Asset Management, custom applications, integrations, and platform governance.

• Experience with Pattern-Based Discovery and Cloud Discovery.

• Proficient in configuring Graph Connectors for Microsoft Azure, Cisco Meraki, and Juniper.

• Understanding of CMDB health, reconciliation, identification rules, and CSDM alignment.

• Experience with Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Time Cards, and Financial Management.

• Experience supporting Hardware Asset Management and asset lifecycle automation.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.

• Experience with integrations involving Azure, Active Directory, Calero, Workday, and other enterprise platforms.

• Preferred certifications include ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM, Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery, and ITIL Foundation.

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM is preferred.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist, AI Control Tower, LLM, Knowledge Graph, Workflow Data Fabric, and Chatbot.
