Lead Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design of scalable cloud infrastructure.

• Create systems that support multi-cloud environments, cross-account applications, SASE, and automated solutions.

• Work alongside client stakeholders to establish technical requirements and objectives.

• Provide guidance to DevOps and SecOps engineers on innovative and secure cloud strategies.

• Advocate for CI/CD practices and automation tools to provision cloud services.

• Collaborate with senior leadership, enterprise architecture teams, and agency personnel to devise cloud adoption strategies.

• Convey complex cloud architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical training, certifications, or a degree.

• Over 10 years of experience in IT/digital transformation.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud architectures and implementations.

• Proven experience in building CI/CD pipelines.

• Capable of passing a background check to secure a Public Trust position.

• Must possess official legal status in the United States.

• Should have continuously resided in the United States for the past two years.

• Sponsorship is not available.

• Preferred: experience with Linux OS.

• Preferred: familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab.

• Preferred: professional AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications.

• Preferred: experience in connecting on-premise systems with cloud environments.
