Lead Civil/Structural Construction Specialist – Field Assignment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and monitor all civil and structural construction activities on-site.

• Ensure adherence to project specifications, local regulations, industry standards, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.

• Create and execute construction plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

• Perform daily site inspections, track progress, identify issues, and implement corrective measures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engineers, contractors, partners, and project stakeholders.

• Tackle technical challenges and ensure smooth workflow coordination.

• Utilize civil and structural engineering knowledge to enhance designs and construction techniques.

• Suggest cost-effective strategies to address project challenges.

• Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

• Confirm that installed progress and work output align with drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations.

• Identify discrepancies or alterations in work execution.

• Monitor work progress and provide daily updates on key activities.

• Facilitate proactive communication and innovative problem-solving when project issues arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Civil/Structural Construction Management or a related discipline.

• Proven expertise in civil and structural construction, ideally with experience in the energy or power plant sector.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.

• Proficient in project management tools and software for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of industry regulations, codes, standards, and best practices related to power plant electrical operations, maintenance, and safety.

• Must possess work authorization in the U.S.; the employer does not provide sponsorship for work authorization.
